She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph Weaver Jernigan and Betty Irene Taylor Jernigan; her husband Cecil Jackson Selman; and her brothers, Don Jernigan and Bill Jernigan.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Selman (Sue) of Forsyth, Mike Selman (Beth) of Macon and John Selman (Tammy) of Forsyth; her grandchildren, Jennifer Schacht (Marcus), Hannah Smith (Eric), Michael Selman (Heather), Heidi Wilson (DJ), Whitney Selman, Zach Selman (Samantha), Calliway Selman and Kaleb Joseph (Mary); and her sister Joy Bray of Fayetteville, Georgia.. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
