She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Francis Carr and Josephine Klus Carr; her husband Cornel "Tex" Joe Bogdan; her daughter Debra Swantner; and her brother Gerald Carr.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Bogdan, Patricia Bogdan Williams, Kali Bogdan and Brandon Bogdan; her grandchildren, Amy Pompeii, Katie Hunt, Chad Whitehead (Ashley), Taylor Howard (Jacob), John Bogdan and Shod Bogdan; and her sisters, Barb Lucas, Nancy Roof (Butch) and Marylin O'Neil (Paul). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Hart's Mortuary and Cremation Center (6324 Peake Rd, Macon, GA 31210). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
