He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Etheridge and Mary Etheridge; his former wife Annie McGaha Etheridge; and his stepson John Murray Malone. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Batts Etheridge; his daughters, Kathy E. Ogden (Floyd) and Debbie E. Darsey (Hugh); and his stepchildren, Cheryl Harrell Youmans (Charles) and James Gregory Malone. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church (5455 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at the Forsyth City Cemetery Newton Memorial.
