It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Lee Barker of Forsyth, Georgia, born in Hawkinsville, Georgia, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Warnie Barker and Isadore Barker; and his siblings, Emily Strickland, Alvis Barker (Louis) and Dan Barker.

He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Barker; his daughters, Karen and Deanne McDougall (David); his grandchildren, Josh Ayer (Autumn), Kirstie Ayer, Jackson McDougall and Olivia McDougall; his great grandchildren, Annaleigh and Hadley Ayer; his sister-in-law Betty Jean Barker (Martha Ruth Walker); and his nieces and nephews, Danny Barker, Gary Barker, Janet McDaniel, Julie Strickland, Brenda Wellman, David Walker, Cathy Trentman and Lynn Adams.

The family will be accepting flowers or donations to First Baptist Church of Forsyth, 95 W Morse Street, Forsyth, Georgia 31029.
