With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Ruth Gresham (Forsyth, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Jones and Fred Jones; her husband Johnny Gresham of Forsyth; and her sister Shirley Yankey. She is survived by: her children, Joy Freeman (Eddie) of Juliette, Wanda Goolsby (Mark) of Juliette, Reginia Fountain (Dan) of Forsyth, Candace Fountain (Cody) and Deanna Colvin (Tye); her grandchildren, Amanda Passmore (Richard), Ashly Mullis (Sam), Joelle Freeman, Megan Jones (Jeff), Daniel Fountain, Andrea Goolsby, Amber Waldrop (Charles), Michaela Mendez (Edgar), Macey Daniel (Jon), Blake Colvin (Kirsten), Bailey Colvin (Nic) and C. J. Fountain; and her brothers, Fred Jones, Sr. and Roger Jones (Susan). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
The family ask in lieu of flowers that donations be made to New Beginnings Pentecostal Church.
