She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Juanita Vaughn Smith and James Gray Smith; her husband Harlon P. "Skip" Spivey; her brother James "Jimmie" Smith; her stepgrandson Jason Rudisill; and her pet Rusty.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Lottie S. Kay (Bill) of Winston-Salem, NC and Debra S. Pace (Mike) of Aberdeen, NC; her stepgranddaughter Jenny Lee Rudisill of Aberdeen; and her sisters, Marian Smith Allen of Forsyth, GA and Martha Smith Bullard of Griffin, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
