Myra Gittens Waldrep Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myra Gittens Waldrep of Forsyth, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Myra Gittens Waldrep to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Myron Gittens and Mildred Brooks McDaniel; and her husband William "Billy" Waldrep Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Gloria Waldrep of Forsyth, Bill Waldrep (Sarah) of Forsyth and Brooke Burson (Steve) of Conyers; her grandchildren, Caroline Waldrep, Willow Waldrep, Adam Burson and Ryan Burson; and her brother Jim Gittens (Sue). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paran Baptist Church (5691 GA-42, Forsyth, GA 31029). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at the Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens (Forsyth, GA 31029).
The family will greet friends from 6:00PM – 8:00PM Friday May 2, 2025, at the Church. in lieu of flowers the family request donations to Paran Baptist Church 5681 Highway 42 N. Forsyth, Ga. 31029 or Tift Sisters Alumnae Association PO Box 951 Forsyth, Ga. 31029.
