It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tye D. Howard (Forsyth, Georgia), who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Howard and Frances Howard; his daughter CaSondra McVicker; his brother William Howard (Bill); and his brother-in-law William Lawson (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Janet Howard; his sister Jackie Lawson; and his daughters, Tiffany Dye (Keith), Leigh Thomas (Chris) and Terri Pershey (Richard). He is also survived by grandchildren, 12 treasured great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Tye's memory to the Monroe County Historical Society, 126 E. Johnston Street, Forsyth, GA 31029 or Huntington's Disease Society of America (https://hdsa.org.), two institutions that were close to his heart.
