She was predeceased by : her parents, A. P. Pinson and Sallie Whelchel Pinson; her siblings, Clyde (Cordell Pinson), Eula Mae (Bagwell), Wilburn (Floy Pinson), George (Mauline Pinson) and Lounell (Holcomb); and her grandson Zachary Cook.

She is survived by : her husband Glenn Waldrip; her daughters, Lisa Young (Brian) of Gainesville and Gina Cook (Mike) of Roswell; and her grandchildren, Hannah Young (Dan Christopher) of Tampa, FL, Hunter Young (Beth Anne) of Alpharetta, Cooper Cook of Roswell, Athens and Chandler Cook of Roswell.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta or St. Jude Children's Hospital as both organizations were dear to her.
