He was predeceased by: his parents, George Penuel and N. E. Penuel; and his sister Nancy Penuel Holland. He is survived by: his wife Ann Shelley Penuel; Rabon Holland, Will Pitchford, Phil, Jan Shelley, Thomas and Kay Roney.
