She was predeceased by : her parent Robbie McAllister Grimsley; her husband James Allen "Buck" Brown; her sister Sue Grimsley Cook; her father Grady Grimsley; and her great-nephew Jimmy Rice.

She is survived by : her sons, Robert Lewis "Bob" Brown and James Allen Brown (Mila); her grandson John Bae; her cousin James H. Hall; and her friends, Amy Williams, Andy, Lena Jackson and Bill Cartledge.
