Gaines; his children, Gayle Cohen of Ocilla, GA and Robert Sheffield (Pam) of Locust Grove, GA; his siblings, Sandra Tanner (Tony) and Barry Sheffield (Alice); and his grandchildren, Jamie Strickland, McKensi Sheffield, Dustin Brown and Kyle Sheffield. He is also survived by 2 great grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
