He is survived by : his wife Nancy; his children, Wendy L. Leatherwood (Jon), Robert C. Reid (Katy) and Christopher P. Reid (Lauren); his siblings, Wayne, Harry Reid and Jackie Brinksneader; and his grandchildren, Ty Leatherwood, Alex Leatherwood, Layla Grace, Kaylee Alyse and Presley Mae.
