He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl B. Watson and Evelyn Lanham Watson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Richardson Watson of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; and his sisters, Dianne Elkins (Hershel) of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, Kathy Krajesky (Eric) of Fort Oglethorpe, GA and Jeannie Robinson (Gregg) of Chickamauga, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
