He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Hixson and Corrine Hixson; and his siblings, Olin Hixson, Jr. and Dorothy Brown (Charlie). He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Hixson; his children, Cindy Franks (Michael), Vickie Hixson (Randy Hollis) and Jason Hixson; and his grandchildren, Jessica Woodall, Ryan Woodall and Isaac Hollis. He is also survived by several cousins and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Doug's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
