She was predeceased by : her parents, William David Asher and Mary Jane Jones Asher; her former life partner Clifford Hixon; and her husband J. P. Edgeman. She is survived by : her son Tommy Hixon (Delta); and her grandson Christopher Hixon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
