She was predeceased by: her parents, Milo Terry and Nellie Terry; her sister Vera Josephine Swafford; and her stepdaughter Jaquetta Jones. She is survived by: her husband Robert Rivers of Fort Oglethorpe; her daughters, Markeita Gray of Ringgold and Tammy Gray Smith (Sherrell) of Ringgold; her stepchildren, Lisa Brown, Bobby Rivers and Laura Chattam; and her brother Charles Terry (Vivian). She is also survived by two grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
