James Bailey Hulsey Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of James Bailey Hulsey of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. James Bailey, born on November 13, 1943, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Hulsey and Etta Hulsey; his former wife Linda Phillips Hulsey; and his brothers, Buman Hulsey and Rayburn Hulsey.

He is survived by: his wife Cathy Hulsey; his children, James Phillip Hulsey (Alina), Cari Henderson and Lisa Thomas; his grandchildren, Maci (Benji), Alex, Cristina, Michael, Leucas, Aidan, Jaxon and Eli; his great grandchildren, Maleigh and Nash; his sister Sarah Kilgore; and his sister-in-law Wanda Hulsey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lane Funeral Home - South Crest Chapel (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
