It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Probasco Jones (Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia), who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Scott L. Probasco, Sr. and Margaret Williams Probasco; her husband Robert C. Jones, III; and her siblings, Scotty Probasco and Alice Lupton.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Cannon Jones (Tesia), Marian King (Collier), Catherine Schwartz (Jimmy), Laura Barnett (Nick), Allison Hall (Andrew), Lizzie Brown (Emerson), Nevin Jones, Walker Jones, Bobby Jones, Mary Wilkin Smith and Evelyn Smith. She is also survived by her three sons and a daughter.
A reception was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lookout Mountain Golf Club.
