She was predeceased by: her son Joseph Travis Whittemore; and her parents, Joseph Winston "Stonewall" Jackson and Jewell Dean Henson Jackson. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Smith (Greg) and Tanya Southerland (Jesse); her grandchildren, Gage, Zane, Madison, Hailee, Kaitlynn and Racheal; her great grandchildren, Jake, Jamison, Brynleigh, Maryanne and Annalise; and her sisters, Donna J. Serine (Ed), Angie D. Guthrie (Greg) and Gayle Roistacher (Sam). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home (121 W Villanow St, LaFayette, GA 30728). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel.
