She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Plunkett and Nellie Hudspeth Plunkett of Graham; her husbands, Leonard W. Bishop of Lyles and William "Bill" Kennedy of Ringgold; her daughter Gina Kay Bishop Cagle; and her siblings, Dorothy Lancaster (Guy), Horace Plunkett (Francis) of James Thomas and Harden Plunkett (Raye).
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Bishop Pierce (Randy) of Otto, NC; and her grandchildren, Jillian Faith White of Trenton and Timothy Leonard Cagle of Ringgold. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
