Clyde Zachery Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2025, at the age of 80, Clyde Zachery (Fort Valley, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lee and Clara Mae Zachery; his wife Bettye Zachery; his siblings, Rollie Zachery, Addie Zachery Reeves, Catherine Keith and Laura Lee Zachery; and his grandson Brandon Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Thompson of Jacksonville, Florida, Samuel Wayne West (Katriece) of Atlanta, Georgia and Nikki Cooper (Craig) of Warner Robins, Georgia.; his granddaughters, Carmen Fife of Newnan, Georgia and Samaria West of Atlanta, Georgia; his great grandchild Anastasia Thompson of Jacksonville, Florida.; and his sisters, Minnie Zachery of Newnan, Georgia., Gloria Carmichael (Ross) of Newnan, Georgia. and Pauline Zachery of Newnan, Georgia.. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, fraternity brothers, former players, colleagues, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Greater Faith Babies Ministries (1000 Tulip Dr, Fort Valley, GA 31030). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
