Prater; her husband Gerry Hill; her children, Ashley Hill and Jared Hill; her granddaughters, Morgan-Jean Hill and Kendall Cornelius; her siblings, Teresa Richardson Robinson (Bruce), Michael Richardson (Rose), Sharon Strickland, Shelia McGuire and Glenn Johnson (Tracy); and her siblings-in-law, Wenda Hill, Teresa Jones, Tameka, L'Wanna and James "Perk" Hill. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
