She was predeceased by : her parents, William LeRoy Youngblood and Edna Olive Cox Kern; her grandson Christopher Wojcik; her great grandchild Levi Joshua; her brother William Youngblood, Jr.; and her great grandchild George Ferguson Jr..

She is survived by : her husband William Mathis of Ft. Valley; her daughters, Vickie Harris of Milledgeville, Loretta Moore of Indiana, Melissa Sutton of Virginia, Sherry Arrington (Daniel) of Maryland, Donna Smead of Maryland and Mechele Donahue (Ray) of Maryland; her stepchildren, Ginny Mathis Warfield and Michael Mathis; and her siblings, Betty Winkler of Maryland, Sonny Youngblood (Karen) and Christopher Youngblood of Maryland. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
