We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2025, at the age of 71, Jane Brown Thurmond of Fort Valley, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David E. Brown and Betty Laing Brown. She is survived by: her husband James Bryan Thurmond Jr.; her daughters, Jennifer Carbajal (Vincente) and Lauree Beth Randolph (Anthony); her grandchildren, Georgia Carbajal and Matthew Carbajal; and her cousins, Betty Lou Green, Susan Green Fairbairn (Hugh) and Clyde Laing (Barbara).

In lieu of flowers, family respectfully requests donations be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
