She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Warren Sr. and Ruth Warren Sr.; her son Gerbis Alvin Shields Jr.; and her siblings, William Henry Warren Jr., Daniel Eugene Warren (Dorothy Barefoot Warren), Charles Edward Warren and Wanda Gail Myrick (Edward Holland Myrick).
She is survived by: her husband Steven McCard; her children, Dillan McCard and Judy Faye Pinnell; her grandchildren, Jacob Shields, Hannah Shields, Brianna Griffin (Daniel), Melody Myrick and Noah Shields; and her sister Sabrina Ruth Windham (Scott). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rooks Funeral Home (109 W White Rd, Byron, GA 31008). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Rooks Funeral Home (109 W White Rd, Byron, GA 31008).
