It is with sadness that the passing of Michael Ray Thomas of Fort Valley, Georgia is shared. Michael, born on January 25, 1957, passed away on October 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sherman Thomas (Retha Pauline Bailey Thomas) and Mike. He is survived by: his wife Janice Thomas; his children, Heather Powell, William Thomas (Melissa), Joseph Thomas (Alexis) and Daniel Thomas (Rebekah); his grandchildren, Haley Powell, Heavyn Powell, Liam Thomas, Teresa Thomas and Brandon Thomas; his brother Gary Thomas (Donna); and his nieces, Tiffany and Stacey. He is also survived by family members and friends.
The military honors will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery (2617 Vinson Hwy, Milledgeville, GA 31061).
