He is survived by: his wife Sherry Sanders; his children, David Sanders (Sushmitha), Alycia Sanders, Veronica Robinson and Cedric Harris; his grandchildren, Tierra Sanders, Myka Robinson, Yaashya Harris, Ava Harris and Zarina; his sisters, Earnestine Sanders and Idella Mathis; his brother-in-law Oscar Hill; his friends, Lorraine Cobb, Matthew Jackson and Karen Talton Turner; and his pet Flash. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, his many other loving family members.
