He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Carey Stanley and Louise Poole Stanley; his son David Stanley; and his brothers, Carey Stanley and Jerry Stanley.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Stanley; his children, Robert Stanley, Lori Giles (Michael) and Daniel Stanley (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Justin Stanley (Zach), Jacob Stanley, Sam Stanley, Molli Giles, Logan Giles, Trevor Stanley, Madison Stanley, Sawyer Stanley, Conner Stanley and Trina Goorah; and also, Olive and Henry.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fellowship Hall of Fort Valley Methodist Church (301 W Church St, Fort Valley, GA 31030). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Valley Methodist Church (301 W Church St, Fort Valley, GA 31030).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Fort Valley Methodist Church or to a charity of the donor's choice in honor of Sam.
