He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Lee and Julia B. Sturn; and his siblings, John L. Sturn (Geraldine), Daisy L. Radford (Zell), Patricia Keen (Robert) and Jimmie L. Sturn (Geraldine).
He is survived by: his wife FlorineSturn; his sister Carolyn Powell; his siblings-in-law, Mary Bass, Kevin Smith and Jimmy Smith (Joyce); and his uncle Freddie Dunn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Edwards Small Mortuary (1011 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Fort Valley, GA 31030). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at 3829 Camp John Hope Rd, Marshallville, GA 31030. A burial was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the same location.
