It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vaughnnell Riddle Luckie of Fort Valley, Georgia, born in Montezuma, Georgia, who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Riddle and Exa Phipps Riddle; her husband John Mobley "Dock" Luckie; her brother Winford Riddle; and her grandchildren, Mandy Luckie and Alex McCord.
She is survived by: her children, John Mobley Luckie Jr. (Cheryl), Susan Youngblood (Bill), Jan McCord (Tim) and Vaughn Luckie; and her grandchildren, Trey Luckie (Dana), Edithlynn Wilder (Will), Ashlee Wood, Linsey Freeman (Ben), Molly Rabalais (Josh), Hank McCord, John McCord (Alexis) and Vaughn Luckie Jr.. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Marshallville City Cemetery (304 W Main St, Marshallville, GA 31057).
