He was predeceased by: his parent Willis (Jessie Harper Mathews); and his wife Christine Williams Mathews. He is survived by: his children, Luquita Kroll, Wanda Bishop (Mark) and James Mathews. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
