He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Murray Adams and Mattie Mae Adams. He is survived by: his wife Lane Adams; his children, Greg Adams (Vickie) and Anita Adams (Angie); his stepchildren, Ashley Vannoy and Jason Whitman (Ashley); and his sisters, Barbara Brooks and Gwen Deavours. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Larry Adams requests donations be made to either Piney Grove Baptist Church or Columbus Hospice.
