It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walton Eugene Stokes of Fortson, Georgia, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Paul Howard Stokes; his parents, Clifford Stokes and Lulean Stokes; and his siblings, Beverly Saucier and JW Stokes.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Nall Stokes of Fortson, GA; his children, Tracy Brown (Mark) of Clarksville, TN and Cliff Stokes (Beth) of Fortson, GA; his grandchildren, Jessica Newman (Zach), Troy Brown (Brittany), Kelli Farmer (Josh), BriAnn and Ellie Grace Stokes; and his siblings, Clara Jean Stewart and Calvin Stokes. He is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews.
