Though Gilbert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his father Henry Byron Spooner; and his brother Hank Spooner. He is survived by: his mother Mary Coleen McRae Spooner of Fowlstown; his sister Susan Gunnin (Victor) of Tyrone, Georgia; his close friend Cindy Barlow of Fowlstown; his daughter Amber Johnson of Fowlstown; and his nieces, Morgan and Victoria Gunnin.
