He was predeceased by: his parents, Wheeler Gilpin and Alice Tallison Gilpin; and his friend Jimmy Hamil. He is survived by: his wife Emma Gilpin; his friend Patsy Hamil; his son Tim; and his daughter-in-law Tina Hamil. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
