She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Young and Mary Willie Pike Young; and her husband Doyl F. Carroll. She is survived by: her son David Carroll (Michelle); her grandchildren, Alicia Carroll Smith (Lee) and Chris Carroll; her great grandchild Eleanor L. Smith; and her sister Johnnie Sue Ray. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations to the American Cancer Society.
