He was predeceased by : his parents, Marshall Wilder and Gladys Cavin Wilder; his wife Dera White Wilder; his daughter Rachel Wilder Powell; and his grandson Benjamin Peardon.

He is survived by : his children, Michelle Shanholtz (Steve Nolen) of Decatur, AL, Betty Daugherty (Ricky) of Woodland, AL, Shirley Williamson of Woodland, AL and Lamar Hubbard (Kathy) of Woodland, AL; and his grandchildren, Levi Shanholtz, Courtney Powell Anderson, Amanda Hubbard, Ashley Prothro and Bryan Rogers. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
