He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry O'Neal Hallmark and Mozelle Phillips Hallmark; and his siblings, Robbie Hallmark, Ren Hallmark and Roger Hallmark.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Hallmark of Franklin; his daughters, Dixie Hallmark of Franklin and Lacie Hallmark of Franklin; his grandchildren, Kinsley Janney, Ellijay Janney, Dawson McElroy and Caroline McElroy; his sisters, Susan Hallmark and Sharon Rivers (Keith); his niece Amy Rivers; and his nephew Neal Hallmark. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
