He was predeceased by : his parents, Carey W. Cabe and Veo Burrell Cabe; his wife Leila Gonzalez Cabe; and his siblings, John Cabe, Odell Hopkins, Frances Hopkins and Frankie Hopkins.
He is survived by : his children, Leila of Jacksonville, FL, Elaine of Long Island, NY, Victor of Ft Lauderdale, FL, Jess of Franklin, NC and Rosemary of Franklin, NC; and his sisters, Frances Cabe of Mountain City, GA, Rose Stiles of Otto, NC and Opal Tilley of Galivants Ferry, SC.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
