David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Cochran Fletcher and Jimmy Fletcher; and his brother Stanley Fletcher. He is survived by: his wife Joy Black Fletcher; his son Jimmy Fletcher (Leanne); his granddaughter Mia of Carver, MA.; his niece Alice Brown; his nephews, Brent Fletcher, Sam Hearn and Daniel Hearn; and his siblings-in-law, Byron Black and Teresa (Lee Hearn).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Parrott Funeral Home Chapel Ga Cemetery (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213).
