It is with sadness that the passing of David Allen Hand of Franklin, Georgia is shared. David, born on June 12, 1955, passed away on October 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Hand and Louise Abercrombie Chandler; his significant other Debra June Hand; his sister Betty Chandler; and his stepfather Neal Chandler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carin Jade Hand, Debra Allene Tanner and Amanda Deane Mitchell (Allen); his grandchildren, Jadon, Destiny, Jeremiah, Dixie, Logan, Aryanna, Matthew, Brehanna and Annabelle; his sisters, Sandy Smith (V. B.), Claudia Ronshausen (Brent), Bobbie Jo Turner, Cleo Turner (Steve), Sheila Mask and Barbara Wright; his uncle Bobby Tarpley (Jo Anne); and his brothers-in-law, John Hunsinger and Richard Todrowski. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Chapel (1 Bullsboro Dr, Newnan, GA 30263). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
