He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jean Hoover; his children, Teri Leppo (Michael), Julie Landis (Douglas), Tricia Socky (Kevin) and Rickamer Hoover (Jessica); his grandchildren, Casey (Danny), Hayley, Christine, Carly, Weston, Andrew (Sarah) and Michelle (Dakota); his great grandchildren, Brayden, Wyatt and Tucker; Carolyn Tobias Hoover, Jeffrey Hoover, Kathi Facciani (Timothy) and Sharlene Hoover. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
