With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert E. Jiles of Franklin, Georgia, who passed away on July 28, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Eugene Jiles and Lola Ivey Jiles; and his wife Shirley Joan Searing Jiles. He is survived by : his daughter Rebecca Diane Hill of Carrollton; his siblings, Wendell Ray Jiles of Franklin, Carol Farmer of Carrollton and Charlotte Monroe of Orange City, FL; and his stepchildren, Darlene Horsley of Blairsville, Kathi Moeller of Fort Wayne, IN, Denise Harris of Huntertown, IN and Todd Hazelbaker of Muncie, IN.
