She was predeceased by: her parents, William Chapman and Katherine Marie Gernell Chapman; and her grandchild Ellie Buchanan. She is survived by: her husband Steve; her children, Ranet Swift of Franklin, Sonja Baker (Ken) of Lineville, AL, Chris Buchanan (Angie) of Jacksonville, FL and Cristal Rush (Matt) of Bremen; her grandchildren, Laura Whitman (Nick), Morgan Nations (Nicholas Waters), Kayla Roberts (Elliot), Wesley Rowland, Carly Rush, Conner Rush, Charlotte Buchanan and Abbey Buchanan; her great grandchildren, Lucas Whitman, Valeigh Whitman and Hagen Waters; and her siblings, Colleen Edmondson, Ellen Furguson and William "Billy" Chapman. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
