He was predeceased by: his mother Maxine Caldwell Kesel; and his brother Billy Wise. He is survived by: his father William "Bill" Wise; his girlfriend Cheryl Simpson; his daughter Elaine Sweeting (Jonathan); his stepchildren, Barry James Steele, Jr. (Bernadette) and Samantha Nicole Steele (William); his grandchildren, Jaiden Meadows, Ethan Steele, Lexi Walters, Waylon Steele and Maria Griffis; his great grandchildren, Rozalin and Tillie; and his sisters, Wendy Muse and Connie Cotter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Glenloch Baptist Church (2807 Glenloch Rd, Franklin, GA 30217).
