He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Irvin Rogers and Elizabeth Duke Rogers; his siblings, Luticia Walden, Robert Rogers, Richard Rogers and Joel Rogers; and his sister-in-law Pam Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Rogers of Ephesus; his children, Monica Walker (Jason) of Hogansville, Brandon Hester of Wadley and Josh Rogers of Ephesus; his grandsons, Dylan Walker and Zane Walker; his granddaughter-in-law Novalie Sumner; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Rogers of Ephesus, Linda Rogers of Centralhatchee and Rex Walden of Enterprise, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Chapel of Stutts Funeral Home (2717 Franklin Pkwy, Franklin, GA 30217).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hopewell Primitive Baptist Church (PO Box 332 Roopville, GA 30170).
