She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Reeves Burruss and Ruth Wallace Burruss; her husband Clifton Chamblee Strickland; and her siblings, Reeves, Leland, Ed, Larry, Maggie, Dorothy and Lucile.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa (Mitch Ralston) and Nancy Bruce (Beth Bruce Smith); her grandchildren, Reeves, Spencer, Anna-Mitchell and Brigham Ralston; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Dylan, Savannah Hall, McKenzie Hall, Sawyer and Gavin Smith; her siblings, Billy Burrus, Ineal Burton and Kathleen Pruitt; and also Dutton Hall. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
