He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Jenkins and Vadie Royal Jenkins; his wives, Sue Jenkins (Buffington) and Barbara Jenkins; his siblings, Conley Jenkins, Luke Jenkins, Robert Jenkins, Georgia Lovette and Faye Darnell; and his former wife Dorothy Hardy.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Jenkins (Faye Bragg Jenkins), Kevin Jenkins (Robin Simpson Jenkins), Shane Jenkins (Elizabeth Pointer Jenkins), Melissa Cates (Sam Cates) and Jenny Weaver (Ron Weaver); his grandchildren, Amy Jenkins, Barry Jenkins, Jr., Lisa Jenkins, Trey Harding (Nicole Phillips Harding), Daniel Harding (Ashley Sims), Meagan Harding Phillips (Nick Phillips), Drew Jenkins (Kirsten Lowe Jenkins), Kaitlyn Westmoreland (Caleb Westmoreland), Abby McKay (Josh McKay), Anna Massey (Houston Massey), Benjamin Jenkins (Kinsley Ross Jenkins), Rachel Jenkins (Gabe Hudlow) and Natalie Weaver Anderson (Eli Anderson); and also Michelle Passmore (Keith Passmore). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
