As Billy departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Billy may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Billy leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Daniel Dover and Lorene "Rener" Savage Dover; his wife Deborah Boreiter Dover; and his sisters, Thelma Elliot and Martha Elliot.
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Elliot of Gainesville, Howard Elliot of Dallas, Irene Evans of Oakwood, Judy McDaniel of Winder and Shirley Clark of Cleveland.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
